Plug and play for an 07 sportster!?
Yes, these instruments are available for a range of 2007 Sportster models. Just choose your exact machine from the fit guide on our website and you should be all set. The instrument plugs straight into the OEM wire harness without the need for any permanent modifications. About the only thing you'll have to look after is the fuel level sensor. This varies from machine-to-machine, but if the fuel gauge doesn't work, you'll need to source a fuel level sensor kit from your preferred HD dealer (part number 6120008) for fuel meter to function properly.

I see it fits the 2011 sportster would I need to purchase another kit to use the fuel gauge and range indicator and tach?
It's not required, but you will need to acquire the OEM fuel sensor 61200008 from your preferred Harley dealer in order for the fuel level and remaining mileage instruments to function. You can certainly use the gauge without that functionality since it's not a requirement. That is to say, the instrument will function as advertised, save for the fuel readings, without that particular fuel sensor on a 2011 Sports XL1200C.
