Adding 12 ounces to 18 gallons of 87 octane results in dramatic improvement in performance of my 2003 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor, especially at high highway speed. Raises octane high enough that knock sensor does not cause downshift on upgrades. I typically use Klotz when the cost of 93 octane gasoline is excessively inflated versus cost of 87 octane. Zero troubles with the twin catalytic converters. Easily passes Connecticut emissions testing.

How many gallons of fuel does 1 gallon treat

It really depends on the concentration at which you're using it. 1 ounce of this stuff will raise 1 gallon of gasoline about 2.5 octane. That concentration would treat 128 gallons of fuel. 4 ounces of this octane booster will raise 1 gallon of gas 10 octane units which is the point at which it peaks out in terms of efficacy. At this rate, you could treat 32 gallons of fuel. Most importantly, there's no substitute for quality fuel - so don't try using this on E85 expecting to turn it into 95 octane fuel! It works best on regular pump gas.
