Psychic Intake Valve Kit

Kit features:

  • All kits sold with valve, spring, retainer, seat to do complete replacement of either intake or exhaust side
  • All components are manufactured under ISO 9001 certified factories
  • Nitride coated components to improve heat transfer and carbon build-up for increased valve train life

Valve features:

  • Forged one-piece construction to help with weight reduction and improved flow
  • Performance valves receive a swirl polish, smooth stem treatment, and are made of 21-2N/SUH35HT stainless steel

Spring features:

  • Springs are made of swosc-v material (oil-tempered steel wire)
  • Some springs feature a progressive style design with more coils on one end of the spring
  • Progressive springs are heavier on one end and should always be installed towards the bottom
  • Non-progressive springs are paint marked and should be installed towards the top

Seats and retainers:

  • Made from 4041 steel (selected applications use 7075-T6 aluminum)
  • Designed to work with psychic stainless steel valves and springs

Can these valves be lapped and put into the factory valve seats or do I have to have the valve seats replaced?

Psychic valves are designed to be treated just like the OEM valves you're replacing. The can be lapped to work with the OEM valve seats on your machine. Of course, you'll want to be sure the seats themselves are in serviceable condition, but assuming they are - then you shouldn't have any problem fitting these valves to any machine you select from our fit guide.

Are there two exhaust valves or an intake valve and a exhaust valve

These kits come with enough components to service either, the exhaust side, or the intake side, of your engine.  As is noted in the description, each kit is sold with the correct number of valves, springs, retainers, and seats to do complete replacement of either intake or exhaust side of any machine you select from our fit guide. You'll only need to buy one kit to service either, the exhaust or the intake side, of your engine.
