Will this work with a 420 Watt stator on a 2017 Can-Am renegade 1000r XMR DPS

Yes, if you were to select the 2017 Can-Am Renegade 1000R regulator from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct component to fit your Xmr DPR variant since, basically, all Can-Am models of the same family and year use almost all of the same charging components.
The unit is designed to withstand a constant input current of up to 500W, so, well within your requirements.
Will it fit on my 07 vstar 1100 silverado?

The Machine is a 2005 Suzuki kingquad 700
