The power windshield on Indian Chieftain, Roadmaster, Challenger, and Pursuit models all fail eventually. This is caused by a plastic nut that strips on the windshield motor. The motor typically doesn't fail, only the plastic part. This part can be replaced with a CNC aluminum replacement that will not wear out.

The motor gear looks to be cnc'd made and is a forever fix for the cheap plastic gear installed by Indian. Plenty of videos available online, complete install about 2 to 2.5 hours, well worth the time. Now have a reliable and worry free fix. Can honestly say better than new!

Replace my 2020 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse factory windshield gear with the UltraCool Windshield gear and it fit perfectly and actuates smoothly as advertised. Probably the last time I'll have to do this as the Ultracool gear is very robust. This is a great replacement part.
