Evans coolants have a boiling point 163F higher than conventional water, so your performance engine can run reliably at the higher temperatures needed to make good power. This resistance to boiling has the added benefit of reduced cavitation at the water pump interface and bends within various passages of the coolant system. This higher boiling point also prevents instances of air pockets as well. Additionally, since Evans coolants have a lower electrical conductivity than water, electrolysis and its associated mechanical degradation are also minimized. The result is a cooler running engine with fewer hotspots, when compared to conventional water-based coolants, and reduced maintenance costs.
