What type starter does a 2 inch open belt drive need on a 1975 flh shovel with e start?

Anything starter that fits a 1990-2006 Big Twin will do the trick. Personally, I prefer starters from Terry Components and Spyke since they both build new (not remanufactured) starters that are made in the USA.

What type of clutch and how much horse will it take . Will it hold up to a 120 ci Ultima engine ?

BDL open belt drives include a BDL lock-up clutch kit that's built like a small tank. It won't have any problem handling a built-up 120 cubic inch motor!
