Do I need the brake kit for a Heritage Classic 2022

That brake pedal isn't required since your bike came from the factory with floorboards and not mid-controls. Assuming you still have those 'boards on your machine, you don't need to buy anything else to fit this exhaust to that bike.

Yes, absolutely. If you were to choose the 2024 Harley Davidson FXBR Softail Breakout exhaust system from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct parts to fit your machine. Mind you, as noted in the item's description, if you wish to retain use of the OEM mid-controls, you'll need S&S rear brake pedal 560-0370 which can be found on our S&S Brake Pedal for M8 Softail with S&S Exhaust web page. Other than that, you should be all set.

If you have forward controls on your 2019 FXDR 114 you would not need the pedal kit. If you have mid mount pegs than you would need that S&S Brake Pedal Kit.
